Description
This valuable art piece was created and performed on a unique occasion in a live painting and musical performance in the presence of hundreds of soulful glances at Istanbul, Turkey, by the hands of the highly skilled multidisciplinary Artist Mr AliReza Ghoojari.
The content of the music has played during the performance and painting are very close. The music has played by Turkish musician Ahmed Aslan. His poems have Turkish Alevi philosophy context with a mystical worldview. The music was about: Since the beginning of human existence, humans have been associated with a series of emotions to flourish. Then the singer asks himself, who am I?
The artwork is a scene with which many of you are familiar. However, there are differences between how we see this scene and what Mr Ghoojari has painted.
Colour
The colours used are bright and Contrasting (light and dark). They can remind a season. The shadows can show where the sun is. In the horizon, The alchemic effect of light causes transformation to golden colour. They Can tell about the secrets of light.
Lines and Shapes
Lines and Shapes are painted very skillfully. One of the outstanding Artistic elements in the painting is Fractal art and repeating motifs and lines, which make unique shapes.
Repeating motifs sometimes turn into plants, and sometimes they are forms of writing; these forms are the interface between senses and thoughts. Those writings reveal and record the moments of spiritual inspiration and internal and external conversations. They Can articulate the Creation philosophies and enlightenment.
In the late 14th and early 15th centuries in western Iran (Persia) and Anatolia in Turkey, there was a Sufi movement based on the mysticism of letters, “Hurufism (Arabic: حُرُوفِيَّة)”. The Hurufism followers were assigning numerical values and particular attributes for the words and the alphabet. Therefore, to interpret Mysticism experiences and religious traditions and practices, they used an alphanumeric code in the name of Hisab al-Jummal (Abjad numerals).
Hurufism philosophy was based on the following: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and thee Word was God.” (Qur’an, the Bible (Gospel of John), Torah) Or They had Interpretations such as: “God’s Mighty Hands” (Bible /Quran). The word “Hand” is equal to ydd (ید Yad) In Arabic. In Abjad numerals ydd (ید Yad, Hand) is Equal to 14, and al-yadayn(اليدين yadayn, Hand ) is Equal to 28. then, because the Arabic alphabet is 28 letters, they concluded logically that: the beginning of the existence of “God’s Mighty Hands” in all things was from the alphabet. In addition, in many cultures, creation begins with a plant.
The combination of these philosophical thoughts and other emotions at that moment of performance has created the unique scene of Wheatfield Exodus Balladry Artwork for the painter and us. The painter does not sketch anything in advance. Instead, all emotions from the song, the viewer, and the environment at the performance transform into an artwork.
